Our People


Chau is the Managing Director of the firm. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with Bachelors in Law and Commerce and has been working at Corser & Corser continuously since 2004.

Chau practices in native title law, catering for indigenous client groups throughout the state. Frequently travelling to the Kimberley, Pilbara and mid-west regions, she conducts meetings and negotiations with private and publicly listed companies to reach Native Title Agreements which provide for much needed financial and non-financial benefits for the firm's indigenous clients. She represents various claimant groups in the Federal Court to achieve native title determination and in the National Native Title Tribunal for associated work.

Chau also practices in commercial litigation and most areas of commercial law, including property and business settlements, leases, wills, probate and contracts.

Chau was born in Vietnam and speaks the Vietnamese language. She welcomes clients from the Vietnamese community.


Shirley Feng joined Corser & Corser as an articled clerk in 2011 and was admitted to practice in 2012. Shirley holds the degrees of Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and International Business from the Australian National University.

Shirley practices in commercial and civil litigation and dispute resolution. She has experience in commercial and property disputes, trade practices/competition law, contested bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings and debt recovery.

Shirley regularly assists counsel in complex litigation matters in the Supreme, Federal and District Courts. Shirley also acts for Aboriginal client groups in commercial negotiations and matters in the Federal Court and National Native Title Tribunal.

Shirley is a committee member of the Western Australian branch of the Anglo-Australasian Lawyers Society (AALS) and a member of the Law Society of Western Australia.

Shirley speaks fluent Mandarin and welcomes clients from the Chinese community.


Shota Hitomi is a Solicitor and Registered Migration Agent who joined Corser & Corser as a law clerk in 2015. Shota completed a double degree in Law and Asian Studies (Specialist) at Murdoch University, along with a Post Graduate Certificate in Chinese Law which he completed at the City University of Hong Kong in 2014. Shota then completed a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law before becoming a Registered Migration Agent in August 2014.

Since becoming a Registered Migration Agent (MARN 1466642), Shota has worked in a commercial migration agency, then an immigration law firm where he gained experience in family, skilled, business sponsored, student and refugee visas. Shota has assisted in complex migration matters including appealing cancellations at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Federal Court, obtaining health waivers and making Schedule 3 partner visa applications.

Shota studied at Seikei University in Tokyo, Japan for 12 months and has a Japanese Proficiency of JLPT N1. Shota speaks fluent Japanese and welcomes clients from the Japanese community.



Yong Sheng Wee is a law graduate who joined Corser & Corser in 2014. He completed a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Accounting) at the University of Western Australia in 2016, and aims to be admitted to legal practice in 2017.

He has assisted counsel on various matters in the areas of civil and commercial litigation since 2011. Prior to commencing his legal studies, Yong enlisted in the Singapore Armed Forces where he was selected for command school and promoted to the rank of Tank Commander. He enjoys bushwalking and hopes to complete the Bibbulmun Track in the future.

Yong speaks Mandarin and Hokkien, and welcomes clients from the Chinese community.


Pet Berryman is an experienced paralegal who joined Corser & Corser in 1998.

Pet is the firm's administration manager.

Her leisure time is taken up with sports, community and family roles.


Rosetta Milne first joined Corser & Corser in 1982, remaining as an employee for over 10 years. She returned in 2011.

Rosetta is an experienced paralegal who specialises in property settlements and other conveyancing work.

Away from the office, Rosetta enjoys spending time with her family and friends.


Sandra Cronyn is a qualified, certified Bookkeeper and a practicing member of The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.

With a certificate in Accounting, Sandra is a registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board, recognised by the Australian Taxation Office.

Sandra has more than 12 years' experience in Bookkeeping and Office Management for various industries including mining and exploration, construction, insurance and retail.

Sandra currently supports Corser & Corser on a part time basis as the firm's Bookkeeper.
